I am doing a research project on 'the possibilities of sound and photography'. Seijin Taiji (T.N.: Adult Embryo) was created in this concept. The audience whom enter the world of this adult embryo, who keeps growing in his mother's belly, gets to identify itself to its character.'Water' and 'vibrations' are the keywords linking sound, photography and the present work. The water represents a camera’s mirror as well as the amniotic fluid. As for the vibrations, they are created by sounds the sounds coming from the adult embryo's movements and from his mother's daily life.

Photographies are projected on a water's surface and the resulting images scramble according to sounds diffused by speakers. The vibrating images appearing at the surface of water reflect themselves on the walls. It is a system, similar to the process of photography, which applies an effect to an image thanks to sounds diffused on a reflective surface.
