In contemporary art, works are no longer confined to a single medium. They are generated across multiple technologies and layers of information. Photography is no exception. Is a digitally processed image still a photograph, or is it CG?
When an image is projected onto a screen, does it remain a still image, or does it become a moving one?
Is a photograph only valid when printed on paper? Today, photography lacks a fixed definition;
it exists as a plastic medium capable of transforming and merging with other domains.
At the foundation of my practice lies the approach of using photography as a mediating medium.
Photography functions not only as a final output, but also as a device that receives, converts,
and archives heterogeneous forms of information such as sound, light, and data.
Rather than adhering to conventional photographic frameworks, I connect sound and photography—along with their temporal and material properties— to search for images born in the in-between: between the visible and invisible, between presence and disappearance, between recording and forgetting.
